Geylang Serai

Geylang is a planning area and township located on the eastern fringe of the Central Region of Singapore. It is bordered by Hougang and Toa Payoh to the north, Marine Parade to the south, Bedok to the east and Kallang to the west.

For those who like to cooking, they can find anything of food ingredient at Geylang Serai Market. Yes, anything. Something that you cant find in the modern market, you can find here easily. Haha. Its true story form my guest from Johor Bahru. She will be here once in 2 weeks to find food ingredient. According to her, she has explore all Giant and Tesco Hypermarket at JB, but she couldn't find the thing that she want. Finally, she find it at Pasar Geylang Serai. Since that, she will travel form JB to Geylang Serai to grocery shopping 

Geylang Serai also famous with verities of local food - Malay, Chinese and Indian food. You can ensure your stomach is full if you come here. Fried Kuey Teau, Nasi Padang, Roti Canai, Nasi Ambeng and many more delicious food that you like to eat. 

During fasting season, its become more excitement with Ramadhan Bazzar especially for Muslim to get the food. On the last 10 days during Ramadhan, Muslim will find their house accessories for their final Syawal preparation
